Our Commitment to Health: NPIP Certified (32-1570)
Superior Standards for Superior Game Birds
At Silver Creek Farms, the health and safety of our flocks are our top priorities. We believe that a quality hunting or breeding experience starts long before the birds reach the field—it begins with rigorous biosecurity and health monitoring at the hatchery level.
We are proud to announce that all Silver Creek Farms flocks are officially tested and certified by the Department of Agriculture as part of the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP).
Our Official NPIP Number: 32-1570
What is NPIP Certification?
The National Poultry Improvement Plan was established in the 1930s to provide a cooperative industry-state-federal program through which new diagnostic technology can be effectively applied to the improvement of poultry and poultry products throughout the country.
For our customers, this certification is a "seal of approval" that ensures our game bird poultry operations meet or exceed national health and safety standards.
Why It Matters to You
When you source your Ringneck Pheasants, Quail, or other game birds from an NPIP-certified farm like Silver Creek, you gain peace of mind knowing:
-
Disease Prevention: Our flocks are regularly tested for major avian diseases, ensuring you receive healthy, vibrant birds.
-
State-to-State Compliance: Our NPIP 32-1570 status allows for easier legal transport and shipping across state lines, as our birds meet the health requirements of the Department of Agriculture nationwide.
-
Biosecurity Excellence: Our facilities follow strict protocols to prevent the introduction and spread of pathogens, protecting both our farm and your local ecosystem.
-
Quality Assurance: Certification reflects our dedication to professional management and ethical farming practices.
Healthy Birds, Successful Seasons
Whether you are stocking a hunting preserve or adding to your own farm, the NPIP flock certification is our promise to you that Silver Creek Farms birds are raised with integrity. We take the extra steps required by the Department of Agriculture because we know that healthy birds lead to better flight performance and higher survival rates.
In addition to our NPIP commitment we use QuailOS to see weather forecasts for our customers address to make shipping decisions and transparently show our customers hatch rates.
